It has also attracted a barn change, owing to a private purchase by Frank Stronach after the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint in which Her Smile finished third. We’re taking her to return quick dividends under the care of new trainer Chad Brown.
It is rare when you see such a one schedule that never has missed a beat since she went into training for the new barn January 1. She has worked every 7 days without missing a beat, including a series of stamina building 5-furlong works, including three bullets.
There seems to be enough pace to suit her late-finish sprint style, she attacts Castellano and the outside post suits perfectly.
Taking Her Smile to win with no price restrictions and keying her in multiples with Belle of the Hall (7-2) and Funny Sunny (6-1).
Running Totals: (1028) 318-203-148 Total Dollar Return: $2,193.00 [win selections only]

T, neither one of us covered himself in glory in this spot but here’s an observation--not an excuse or reason, just an observation.
If you look at all Her Smile’s best races last year, her sprint efforts came with one run from far back. In this spot, JJ, stalked 3x and 4x all the way.
Don’t care how many races or riding titles he wins; ne will NEVER be a better race rider than Johnny. Never.

No arguments there about JV. Never did handicap by jock anyhooo. This saddle tramp is on a losing bender the past week, but when this happens, my numbers explode soon thereafter. Let the good times roll, otherwise, I’m gonna have to take up bingo or something. Happy trails.
