Unfortunately, High Cry (7-2) is 4-for-6 in NoFla, and Ness is batting an ungodly 46% at the meet—with 98 starters!
The other danger, of course, is Tweedy (5-2), making her U.S. and season’s debut for Christophe Clement. And she’s only been in training for this from early December!

JP, 4-Brinca has been scratched, and although I do not have the exact percentage, it has been my experience that they rarely win when this happens.

SO now what, Teddy? You’re even bringing me bad luck. Ran some errands, which ran a little late, and forgot, too, that the feature was the fifth race. $6.80 shutjout with $22 cold with Clement. The mighty Jamie Ness was vet-scratched.
BTW: The last two shutouts wit these midweek wagers both won, of course. Make mistakes and you will be summarily punished by the racing gods. And the last one was 10-1 chance! But almost 5-2 with the main dangerous out of the race? Turned out to be good value.

If there is such a thing as being in the groove, I’m not in it at the moment. Show me the way and I’ll follow. Nice pick today, won like clockwork. Had Sassy Little Fox which gave me a glimmer of hope for the future. Tomorrow is another day. Right now, I feel like that guy on luck who doesn’t shave.
