Besides, a win today very likely will get him in the Derby. And he's training ike a horse that will come out breathing fire and is proven over any surface, pace scenario or any number of turns. He has the ability and tools to adapt. All that's left is to see whether he's made that transition from 2 to 3. Can't wait for 5:35 p.m.
Taking Violence to win, no price restrictions, and will try to optimize with Speak Logistics (12-1) to complete the exacta.

It is my policy never to resort to 3-Violence, therefore, I must go with 9-He’s Had Enough, in my estimation an under-achieving, trouble-prone, “August” horse. He was bred to win in August, as the past performances clearly show, and probably has little chance here, but what the hell, it’s only money.

Denny, points well made, and Hussar stayed fairly well after being passed on the turn.
I feel the need--the need for speed--the need for Mr. Speed! Great call, nailing the TRI as well.
It was the mini-turnback that had me worried about the winner. I asked Shug in the winners’ circle if he was concerned at that. Well, he was, that and the 1-post since he had been a gateful in the gate on previous occasions--but not so yesterday.
