Newly turned 4-year-old appeared in need of recent return from layup, finishing willingly after the fact. With lots of speed signed on, a race under is best and an outside post, a strong late run should get the job done. It will take nothing less.
Taking Southpaw Slammer to win at 3-1 or greater and key boxing him in multiples with super sharp Drunken Love (6-1), dropdown Saint Pete (3-1) and the very speedy Starship Wildcat (5-2).

As I’ve stated in the past, the mark of a great handicapper is how good a disclaimer he can muster, so here goes. I’m not in the habit of playing horses who were running when Truman was in office, or who started for a tag of $7,500 3 back, desperately attempting to regain their former stature, and I have absolutely no faith in 2-Drunken Love, but, alas, it is my selection. Wmcorrow would be proud! And, isn’t always nice to get a second opinion? It makes me sad to see no comments, and feel it is my duty. So let’s all watch 2-Drunken Love pack it in when they turn for home (if he even gets the lead), and send him back to the bull rings where he belongs. In any event, I get a kick out of these old ones when they show glimmers of their former mediocrity. Can you relate?
2-Drunken Love (3.79)
7-Southpaw Slammer (4.45)
8-Starship Wildcat (4.69)

JP, the last week I’ve seriously been considering switching over to Bingo, or scratch cards, but I know there is a huge windfall for me right around the corner. To thine own figures be true.
