While Bill Mott has been otherwise engaged in Dubai, his able Payson Park assistants have been putting Revenue (3-1) through her paces and the 4-year-old filly hasn’t missed a beat.
She’s been training to the minute on an every-seven-days schedule and has been moving right along. She’s a proven winner when fresh, has won sprinting on grass and was quick enough to win going 4-1/2 on the Tapeta surface at Presque Isle.
Reuniting with winning rider Joe Bravo, her late run style fitting today’s race shape and with any maturity from 3 to 4, her competitive sophomore turf-sprint figure would be plenty good enough to win this given physical progression.
Taking Revenue to win at 5-2 or greater and key-boxing her in multiples with sharp She’s Packin’ Heat (6-1), classy Lady Rizzi (5-2) and the well spotted Brinca (6-1), reuniting with winning partner Danny Coa.
Running Totals: (1057) 325-207-155 Total Dollar Return: $2,239.60 [win selections only]

Love this time of year, but it makes for some difficult handicapping with all the returnees. Third of the field returning here. Speaking of returnees, 7-Look At Me Dance’s mid-March dance was an excellent workout at 52-1, and will improve vastly in her second rumba today. Obviously, counting on the returnees coming up a bit short, but who knows, the shadow do. I’m in a tizzy about what to do with 3-Lady Rizzi, but hopefully when the dust settles 4-I(’ll be) Fly(ing) High to the window for my reward.
7-Look At Me Dance (5.63)
3-Lady Rizzi (5.67)
4-I Fly High (8.27)

Please forgive me for this presumptious request. Do you think it would be possible to remove the blurb about recent inappropriate salacious comments? I’ve been waiting with baited breath for same, but they have not been forthcoming in quite a while, and have to say you are coming close to being guilty of the old “bait and switch.” Should simply start with ...We are now…

JP--
I am sticking with the white hot Jamie Ness to win this one with She’s Packin Heat.
And here’s an unusual name bet--in the 3rd race at Pimlico tomorrow (which is Good Friday), there is a first time starter named Judas Kiss.......

Dear Chuck from Saratoga:
You better be careful, if you don’t give your full name here, WMCorrow might track you down like a dog, and report you to the turf writer’s blog association. I know who you are Chuck, you are the guy who has not given out a loser on this site in the past 3 years. I got a file on you baby!

Can’t get anything past TTT, Chuckie Boy, he’s got your number(s). Sorry T, you’re going to have to get salacious someplace else; can’t help you.
And since Ness got his barn tossed, Chuck, he’s only gotten hotter!

John Pricci, nice winner, like clockwork. Mine was respectable at the price at the top of the stretch, but doesn’t pay the mortgage.
Way to go. Solid!

JP--Nice pick by the Master, and another exacta to boot!
TTT--I asked Jamie Ness to lose this one for me so I could avoid being tracked down like a dog!
