Beating four horses on a speed-favoring surface with a short stretch run at the 1-1/16 mile distance, including a horse, Honor Code, who came out of the race off the Triple Crown trail, does not put me on any bandwagon--certainly not at 2-1 on the early line. I'll stay with proven commodities.
I've been waiting for Uncle Sigh (5-1) to draw a position outside his nemesis, undefeated Samraat (7-2). He has, and I'm willing to give him a chance to presumably run down his rival instead of the other way around.
Taking Uncle Sigh to win at 3-1 or greater, key-boxing him in exactas with his two rivals above and with Harpoon (8-1), adding Noble Moon (12-1), bar shoe and all, and Wicked Strong (15-1) to the super-exotic mix.
