Today's Keeneland feature is a beauty, the G3 Appalachian for three year old fillies on the turf going a mile. It has attracted a serious bunch of serious fillies.

There's Zinzay, runnerup in the G3 Jessamine over the course last fall, and her conqueror, Kitten Kaboodle, who appeared in need of her season's debut at Tampa last month.

There's the imported Lacarolina, a winner of 4 for 7 in France and Sweet Acclaim, each making their U.S. debuts with first-Lasix, and undefeated Daring Dancer for Graham Motion, just to name a few major contenders.

But check out the replay of Recepta's juvenile finale at Belmont Park in which she came from far back with a wide rally to win the Chelsea Flower Stakes going away in her first start on grass. The Phillips family knows how to breed this kind and Jimmy Toner knows how to get them ready.

Taking Recepta to win, no price restrictions, and key-boxing exactas first and second with Daring Dancer and Kitten Caboodle.
