The early line favorite is the fastest horse by definition, Off The Jak (3-1), who’s shipping south himself for Bisnath Parboo, himself profitable with horses returning from layups in today’s time frame scenario.
If he runs back to his Aqueduct finale, this dance is over, but it was such a huge top that a regression is almost assured. He’s worth trying to beat.
Grande Shores looks like the most inviting alternative. While his win late last year came at 5-½ furlongs, his lifetime best figure did come on this racetrack.
Nicely freshened, his 6F internal figure in his GP finale makes him competitive here and his half-mile breeze on April 13th was fastest of his peer group that week. The Gold barn has a live (3) 1-1-1 slate at the current meet.
Taking Grande Shores to win at 5-1 or greater and keying him in multiples with the favorite and surface loving turnback Fit And Awesome (4-1).
Running Totals: (1063) 326-209-157 Total Dollar Return: $2,248.60 [win selections only]

Forgive me for this non sequitur, and for going back to My Old Kentucky Home (I know Stephen Foster would), but I have to ask you, is their anything better than a 1-Dayatthespa? I’m going to go for that other lung today. Good luck in FLA JP.
1-Dayatthespa (3.96)
4-Somali Lemonade(5.17)
8-Dream Pegasus (5.40)

TTT, my wife always tell me to stick to my first decision!
JP, are you playing the 4 horse, race 9 Aqu Friday?

hot horse, the correction was that the “8” was Regalo Mia, not Dream Pegasus, who was the 9. I could never turn down a “Dayatthespa.”
