Kiaran McLaughlin is the favorite in Yankee Fourtune (2-1) who’s won half his 10 turf starts, has excellent Equiform performance figures and is nicely drawn inside with tactical speed; seems like the perfect setup.
Instead, we’ll take any value offered on Philly Ace (6-1), who looks to repeat for Christophe Clement, a profitable 25% in that scenario. A 4 time winner in 9 starts, 4-year-old gelding owns laudably versatile style and picks up Julien Leparoux for his course return, over which he has won.
Late developer figures to improve with age and his inside post insures that Leparoux will have options playing this one off the break. The price should be square.
Taking Philly Ace to win at 4-1 or greater and key boxing him first and second with the favorite and Souper Spectacular (8-1) who goes second off the layup and reunites with Johnny V.
Running Totals: (1096) 338-212-165 Total Dollar Return: $2,320.50 [win selections only]

I’m aware that Hot Feline gets upset with me when I go against the Grand Poobah, but I must discard the Ace here, and go with the favorite 3-Yankee Fourtune for the win, with 5-Pocket Cowboys to Place (beats an Ace), and 4-Souper Spectacular to Show, who at 5 has only had 8 races, and if his troubles are behind him, could be any kind and is the main X factor in here. Watch the board, and always play them close the vest. Remember, don’t drivel and drive.
