Try as we might we can't go beyond early line favorite Wise Dan (8-5) who ran off the screen at Keeneland, earning a layover Equiform figure, and given two months recovery time for return. He's won half he's six starts at Churchill, is working bullets, attracts Johnny V., a his next defeat in four starts at 9 furlongs will be his first.
Taking Wise Dan to win, no price restrictions, and key boxing him in the exacta with the much improved Fort Larned (5-1) and the #1 ranked horse in America, Alternation (4-1).
Running Totals: (1098) 339-213-165 Total Dollar Return: $2,328.30 [win selections only]

Wise Dan is just TOO obvious a winner. That last race of Alternation showed him to be a tough, gritty winner, and I’ll take the better price on him. Hope wise Dan gets a challenge up front and not lone speed in slow fractions.

Just takijg what they give me, H. Meanwhile, don’t leave Fort Larned out of the number, IMO.

Can’t play 1-Wise Dan, as his owner is a Fink.
Know 1-Wise Dan beat 7-Mission Impazible in the Clark, but you will see a different horse today. 4-Nehro will be fiddling with this group while burning up the track.
I’m betting that the one entry runs off the board here, and you will be getting incredible place and show prices on the above 2 horses.
Have no fearo, it’s gonna be 4-Nehro with a huge performance today. Don’t tell anybody (I’m a key man with a God complex) but I’ll be boxing 4-Nehro and 7-Mission Impazible, and emptying my pockets across the board on 4-Nehro.
Then, I’ll drivel off into the sunset with pockets full of cash.
