Claimed out of a two turn route on the inner track, Dutrow cut hih back to 7 furlongs, which always has been his best distance historically, and was almost immediately able to get him back within close range of his lifetime best efforts.
Last out he was forced to move early from the rail position, a New Pace Top that was too taxing an effort, and it compromised his kick, but he easily held a wide margin over the show finisher.
The shift to a more favorable middle post, a switch to Dominguez, the turnback to six furlongs, the presence of sprint-speedy rivals and a seven-week freshening all augur very well.
Taking Uncle T Seven to win, no price restrictions, and key boxing him first and second with price shot Bambi Bound (15-1) and the fresh Belmont lover, Driven By Success (6-1).
Running Totals: (1110) 342-214-167 Total Dollar Return: $2,353.20 [win selections only]

Mr. Speed, there is no such thing as tough race, only tough meat.
I’m with Mr. Speed here with a cold exacta 2-Fiddlers Afleet on top of 5-Uncle TTT Seven, but like the 3-Law Enforcement in the show position.
Once again, Happy July, and I’ll be up to Saratoga soon Johnnie P.; keep your couch warm for me....
