Today's Belmont Park feature is sans name; an optional claiming/secondary allowances for state-breds on the turf going as the day's 9th race.

Trainer Linda Rice will saddle both early line favorites with an uncoupled entry and we're allowing stable go-to rider Cornelio Velasquez to do the handicapping.

Velasquez is forsaking Karakorum Legend (2-1) a one-mile turf win machne, in favor of mate gelded 4YO Adirondack Dancer (5-2) who owns a lot more upside.

Adirondack Dancer is set for his third start off the layup for a barn that's 21% effective in that scenario and, coincidentally, 22% efficient with beaten favorites as he's finished second in both starts this year.

So we're taking Adirondack Dancer to win at 2-1 or greater ,and key-boxing exactas with his mate and the veteran Gimme Credit (3-1) for Jose Lezcano and trainer Danny Gargan, who is 2-for-7 off the claim with three in-the-money finishes.
