Meanwhile, the Given Stakes features another Chad Brown turf runner that holds the edge in a very competitive, tough field. Pianist (3-1) has never run a poor race and has acted like a budding stakes filly her whole career. This a a listed stakes but the future seems to start here. Never defeated in two starts at a mile, she has tactical speed from an inside post and a strong turn of foot which will come in handy in this loaded field.
Taking Pianist to win at 2-1 or greater and keying her first and second in multiples with Wholelottashakin (15-1), Medolina (5-1) and Alaura Michele (7-2).
Running Totals: (1167) 362-225-175 Total Dollar Return: $2,478.00 [win selections only]

Hi John,
I agree this is the filly to beat. I do know she must have firm ground. Let’s hope it’s that way by post time!!

Have 5 possibilities here in my red zone, and most probable is 9-Alaura Michele in a very close matchup. I’m going to use with my next 2 and leave your 2-Pianist out, who may need to take a few more lessons. It hasn’t been the Motion at this meet thus far, but 11-Nayarra, may like to go farra.
9-Alaura Michele (9.26)
10-Colonial Flag (9.43)
11-Nayarra (10.24)
2-Pianist (11.25)
