Making her third lifetime start and first beneath Joel Rosario, she was spotted aggressively in a G2 stakes at Woodbine, the Natalma, and acquitted herself well. She was used early showing speed from post 10 of 14 in the one mile two-turner and held fairly well, sucumbing only in deep stretch. This spot, and the prevailing conditions, is the right place to make amends.
Taking Coconut Shrimp to win [on record for turf only] with no price restrictions, keying her in exactas with impressive Monmouth maiden breaker With Sugar On Top.

How about...Do you want LASIX with this?
“Today’s Belmont Park feature, the restricted Voodoo Dancer Stakes, is for juvenile fillies at 7 furlongs on the Widener Turf which may or may need be looking to punch their ticket to the Breeders’ Cup.”
Unfortunately only one owner/trainer combo got the memo that Juveniles can not run with Lasix in the Breeders Cup.
Shame on you Mr. Repole. Shame on you Mr. Pletcher. You guys fail to see the future.
Great job Darley. Great job Kiaran Mclaughlin.
Beat these baby drug injectors. Yeah give me some Sugar On Top.

Wow, wasn’t expecting this, usually reserved for selections and stuff. That’s what makes the site great, right? Even for me.
Anyway, did you see the Maggie Moss/Tony Dutrow 2YO filly, undefeated Spinaway winner So Many Ways, is skipping the dance, too?
“I stuggled with the decision and we decided to do what’s best for the filly...” Moss said in a press release.
Yeah, right.
And speaking of Mr. Repole, he might send one or more of his babies to the Remsen, not the BC Juvenile.
And how the Governor’s panel made some great recommendations but never referred to raceday Lasix?
From a political and pragmatic standpoint, it made sense not to include raceday Lasix in the conversation. I, too, believe it’s the future, but not without a continuing long and difficult fight.
