But this is the kind of spot in which Rick Dutrow and This One's For Phil (5-1) excel; going three-quarters of a mile off a lengthy layoff. This is one talented speedster when he's on his game and we expect noting less than that here.
Taking This One's For Phil to win at 4-1 or greater and an exacta box with Spa G1 winner Poseidon's Warrior.

I’m surprised you are divorcing yourself from 3-Willy Beamin in this spot. Think he can hold it together for 6 today, and perhaps others will snub him also, and I can make a Thanksgiving day mini-score. Any guy who can continue to win depsite a 1,000-year suspension is my kind of guy. It has always been difficult for me to opt for a horse who has been away for so many months. I’m not a fan of cheating in horse racing, but I hate organizations with power/authority railroading an individual. Viva la Dickie D., and down with the NYRA!

Yeah, T, maybe my guy’s the rabbit. Now while I love Willy and the Rick Short-Rest Turn-Backs, I think it was more of a pace meltdown in the King’s Bishop than anything else.
And, of course, there’s a world of difference between 7 and 6 furlongs.
Once again, a very Happy Thanksgiving to the HRI Faithful!
