The Pletcher trainee broke maiden here in April but then disappeared for four months, clearly a concern.
But his return was good. He appeared a tad short of condition, whether it was physical or mental, he met a very talented New York Bred in Saratoga Snacks, the Empire Classic runnerup, and returned with a New Pace Top in that event. Now it's back to SoFla, where his debut figure was monstrous.
It's Majestic Man (10-1), however, that is the most interesting. Ridden by Johnny V. for Mark Casse, who saddled a winner yesterday, he's worked well for his second start after the trainer change--a profitable 19% proposition in that scenario, and he could fall into a good journey should Tiz Yankee (3-1) press the favorite, a very distinct possibility.
Taking Majestic Man to upset at 6-1 or greater and an exacta box with Graydar.

Good Approach JP. There was a lot of high expectation when Graydar returned huge disappointment when he lost. These types often don’t recover and should not be bet as favorites.
By the way, I have discovered the secret to your success. Rather than handicap, you look at the horse names in a race and figure out which can give you the catchiest title! It works! I haven’t yet figured out TTT’s key to fame and fortune. As for me, I just follow you guys!

Have you ever been hotter than 9 aborigines at a fish fry? This can’t go on much longer, or I’ll have to find a place to keep all the dough. Andy Serling, eat your heart out. Was very disappointed yesterday when 4-Atoned scratched, and was going to send a get well card; glad he’s O.K. He hasn’t won in a couple of years, and most probably has lost a few steps at 7, and if I had only one testicle, would only have to do half the scratching, which is a real plus. Anywhooooo, he is eligible to bounce back to his former self, and I’m not ready for divorce court, yet, especially with the potential settlement he may offer. I hope he lives up to his name today hot horse.
4-Atoned (3.25)
6-Tiz Yankee (5.67)
3-Graydar (7.31)

If Atoned wins, Ted’d gonna be very happy, currently 25/1

Graydar missed track record by 1/100 second.
Shouldn’t they round off to fifths and say he equaled it?

Majestic Man, not so much. Mr. Todd looks like he’s going to be just too tough at GP looking for title #10. Wow!
Going to start working on tomorrow’s headline soon; desperate for a winner!

Looks like JP might have to handicap tomorrow after all, as there are several headline possibilities in the 8th at GP:
1) The FACT is, he is the best
3) There will be a WARRANT for his arrest if he loses
9) You will get a TOTAL REWARD if he wins
11) I have been REFLECTING on my past and need to pick
a winnah!
I’m getting the hang of this, JP!
