The Gulfstream Park feature, like yesterday, is a preliminary allowances/optional but this one is 5 furlongs on the turf. It's another skull buster as many of the faster horses are returning from very long layoffs. So the choice comes down to one of the two favorites. We're opting for the gelding with the better draw, best recent form, a distance lover that never has taken a backward step on turf.
Taking Tiz In Court (3-1) to win at 5-2 or greater and an exacta box with Calabrese/Ziadie returnee, Quiz Whiz (5-2).

Will have to advocate 3-Core Inflation, the young punk with only 5 starts who returned in October and broke maiden through disqualification. Numbers just keep improving, and as you said, it is a skullbuster, and I’m probably going to keep my wallet warm; keeping it very close to my buttocks for this one, which is good advice for insiders, and outsiders, like me. You can’t win ‘em all. Will look for greener pastures somewhere around this great land of ours.
3-Core Inflation (6.14)
11-Quiz Whiz (6.96)
8-Gary D (7.81)

T, just following the great chart-caller Jack Wilson’s instructions: In any race, from feature to maiden claimer, “if the winner pays $3, you pick it; if it pays $30, you pick it.” Simple, no?
