Getting Caught Up in Turbulence

Today's feature is one of my Spa favorites, the G1 Ballerina, with older fillies sprinting 7 furlongs. Per usual, there will be a lot of gas in here; unfortunately not a lot of price.

It's Tricky (8-5) certainly deserves the honor of early line favoritism at 8-5. Three G1 scores tend to enhance your credentials.

But we'll opt for the distance specialist, Turbulent Descent (9-5), who is 3-for-5 at this trip and won the G1 Test here at the distance last year.

Favorable outside draw, first-time Toddster and Johnny V. team. We'll take her to win, no price restrictions. In addition to the early favorite, we'll add Derwin's Star (5-1) to the exotics mix.
