Time to find out if we go well fresh. Today’s feature on the Aqueduct main track is a secondary allowances/$50,000 optional claimer for 4-year-olds and up going a two-turn nine furlongs. Our look will concentrate on Irish Majesty (3-1), Angelica Aura (9-2) and Hawkinsville (8-1).

We’re taking a position against favorite No Reply (9-5) coming off an extremely fast effort on relatively short rest.

Irish Majesty, 3-for-9 at the route, is returning to his optimal distance as part of the Gary Contessa trained entry. Additionally, he’s won his lone start over this surface and drops to his proper level here. Mike Luzzi will have the option to stalk from close range from his mid-position in the starting gate.

Angelica Aura is coming off the recent David Jacobson claim who has fared better with second starters off a claim and accompanied usually by a class drop. But the stretch-out figures to suit here and the 5-year-old returns to the surface over which he won his only start. Mario Pino picks up the mount on the tactical speedster.

Hawkinsville comes from a barn that’s 22 percent effective with their shippers and the young 10-pound apprentice has won with half of the four horses he’s ridden for Wesley Ward, who’s bringing a division to New York this year. Hawkinsville has excellent kick but stretches out here. To his credit, he finished second in his only start at this trip.

Taking Irish Majesty to win at 5-2 or greater and keying him first and second in exacgta boxes with Angelic Aura and Hawkinsville.
