Everyone should know who their daddy is, but gee willikers, have to believe few people know their correct “Daddy” today. 2-Daddy Long Legs runs one bad race, which happens to be on the dirt at Churchill, and immediately, everybody claims he is allergic to this surface and/or racetrack. Makes no sense. Don’t know what happened to him that day, as I’m just an outsider, but what I do know is that if he does not run well, it won’t be because of the surface, or Churchill. These are the types of plays I live for. I know, I know, the rail, the kiss of death. I know, I know, he had to travel. Blah, blah, blah. Despite all that, they will still pay me at the window after he wins.
