In the Hands of the Phillistines?

Interesting feature, the NY Stallion series for three year olds and this year it’s on the turf at one mile.

It’s rare when you find a grass race with several legitimate speed horses but that’s what we have here.

The horse that seems most adaptable in today’s scenario is Hessonite (5-2), who owns tactical speed, can finish, has Equiform figures that are more than competitive, and reunites with Ramon Dominguez, aboard for his most recent victory.

Taking Hessonite to win at 2-1 or greater, and key boxing him in the multiples with Choice Stakes winner Freud’s Honor (2-1), Darrin’s Dilemma (7-2), a winner of the 7 furlong edition of this at Belmont in his lone turf start, and price shot Wishingonastar (12-1), not particularly turf bred but has grass style.

Running Totals: (906) 285-183-126 Total Dollar Return: $1,960.90 [win selections only]

Don’t Forget About Dyani

Today’s feature is a turf marathon featuring some long winded fillies attempting 12 furlongs in the Signature Stallions Waya Stakes. There is no question that Tom Proctor’s Snow Top Mountain (5-2) is the fastest on the Equiform scale but she appears vulnerable at the distance.

We’re opting for Dyani (5-1), which, while slower, has earned her best figures going long and more significantly broke her maiden on this turf course. She ships in off a very sharp score at Ellis Park and picks up the patient Julien Leparoux adept at making the last run a winning one.

Taking Dyani to win at 4-1 or greater and key boxing her in multiples with the favorite, Chris Clement’s marathon specialist Tarrip (3-1) and Gold D’oro (8-1), training purposefully for Bill Mott and might shake loose easily here.

Running Totals: (905) 285-183-125 Total Dollar Return: $1,960.90 [win selections only]

Winner From On High

Today's featured Gleamng Stakes overnighter has attracted a couple of real nice three year old colts with lots of upside.

One of those is Eternal Ruler (8-1). Trainer Bobby Ribaudo has a good record at Saratoga with limited starters each year, making his opportunities count. After a promising U.S. debut, this filly was really compromised by an exceedingloy slow pace while stretching out--a very tough chore. The pace figures to be more lively here with the slight cutback in distance and the filly returns six weeks fresh ith the suddenly hot riding Rajiv Maragh.

Taking Eternal Ruler to win at 5-1 or greater and boxing him in the exacta with Seal Cove (5-2), coming off a Turf Decline Line for the hot McGaughey outfit, and Canaveral, making U.S. debut with sharp blowout for Team Donk-Johnny..

IF ON DIRT: Preachintothedevil (2-1)

Running Totals: (904) 285-183-124 Total Dollar Return: $1,960.90 [win selections only]
