Indulge Yourself

With as much as two inches of rain expected at Belmont today, we're going to live on the edge in today's nominal feature, the G2 Ruffian.

On wet tracks, Bar Of Gold's next loss on a wet track will be her first, as she's a sparkling 5-for-5 in the wet.

But we're going to opt for a horse with more tactical speed in a pace-less race on paper with enough wet-track pedigree to get the job done, either mid-moving to blow the mile one-turner wide open or perhaps even fall out on the lead.

Taking Indulgent (3-1) to win at 5-2 or greater and key-boxing exactas with Bar Of Gold (7-2) and Highway Star (2-1), perfect in three runs at Belmont and at today's trip.

Number of Selections since 2007: 2293

Number of Win and Place Finishes: 692-453

Amount Wagered: $4,586 [$2 to win only]

Total Dollar Return on Investment: $4,713.30

Exacta Finishes All Selections since 2007: .498%

Profit to Date:

Do Tell

Today's optional allowances at Belmont a bit tricky in that the weather forecast is a bit dubious. We'll opt on the side of value and Do Share (5-1) figures to run well regardless of circumstances.

Linda Rice has been on a super run, has been able to get improved figures from the runner and the developing gelded 4YO return at his optimal distance (4-for-7) with good spacing.

Taking Do Share to win at 7-2 or greater and key-boxing exactas with sharp Alex the Terror (8-1) and the Jacobson-improved Anytime Anyplace (4-1).

Number of Selections since 2007: 2292

Number of Win and Place Finishes: 692-452

Amount Wagered: $4,584 [$2 to win only]

Total Dollar Return on Investment: $4,713.30

Exacta Finishes All Selections since 2007: .498%

Profit to Date:
$129.30

20-20 Vision

The way we see it, Vision Perfect (4-1) may be as happy to leave SoFla as we were to get back. Better, she returns to Belmont, the scene of three of her four lifetime wins.

Better still, she's back in her favorite shedrow and gets a switch to Johnny, who should know where to place this turn-back. There appears to be enough pace on paper to play to her late-run style when sprinting.

Taking Vision Perfect to win at 3-1 or greater and key-boxing exactas with Big Rock (2-1) and Loose On The Town (8-5).

Number of Selections since 2007: 2291

Number of Win and Place Finishes: 692-451

Amount Wagered: $4,582 [$2 to win only]

Total Dollar Return on Investment: $4,713.30

Exacta Finishes All Selections since 2007: .498%

Profit to Date:
$131.30
