Small but Very Contentious Belmont Turf Scramble

In today's Belmont turf featured sprint for fillies and mares--as long as there's no interference from Maria--the choice appears to be between the Shug entrant, the ubiquitous Chad Brown, and Chris Clement's uncoupled pair. We're choosing the latter

Of those Clement's two girls, the spot seems more appropriate for Portmagee (2-1) than barn mate Stormy Maria who is, coming off a longer break and seemingly prepping for better.

'Magee' simply loves this course and distance her tactical speed should insure she'll be right in this from the jump while saving ground on her major rivals.

Taking Portmagee to win on turf only, no price restrictions, and key-boxing exactas with fast working Ancient Secret (3-1) and nicely drawn All in Fun (5-2).
