Upside Potential Key to Jockey Club Victory

What a day! Grade 1s day and night.

The day's centerpiece most agree is the Jockey Club Gold Cup, the strongest edition in recent memory. Cutting to the chase in a field loaded with talent, we believe it comes down to three; the older Flat Out (3-1), seeking his third straight JCGC, and the 3-year-olds Palace Malice (4-1) and Orb (9-2). Cross Traffic is the early line favorite (5-2) but we believe that 10 furlongs is about a sixteenth of a mile farther than his best go.

We're taking Palace Malice who we believe has the requisite talent, versatility, distance proclivity and, most importantly, still has huge upside.

Taking Palace Malice to win at 3-1 or greater and key boxing him in multiples with his two rivals above.
