Cary has been posting his selections at HorseRaceInsider on a semi-weekly basis since 2007. Author and professional horseplayer, a look at his running totals are simply among the most unusual ever for a handicapper posting selections in advance in the public arena.
His cumulative running totals of (44) 15-3-5 as of July, 2009--for a total dollar return of $204.70 based on win selections only--yielded an otherworldly 231% return on investment. This is not the kind of impossible claim you often will see from other handicappers.

It’s Three, Three Patterns in One
Today's play is in the seventh at Del Mar, a Kathy Walsh trainee coming off a Triple Equiform pattern. First, an opening compression line, followed by a New Pace Top, and finally a reversal. Caspian (6-1)is absolutely set for the best effort of its career under Garrett Gomez.

New Pace Tops - North and South
CRC Race 02 NINEINTHENINE (#8) drops back into a maiden claimer off a New Pace Top (NPT). Bet to WIN and key 1st and 2nd in all gimmicks (ex-tri-super) with 1,2,5,7.
MTH Race 09 PRINCE JOSHUA (12/1) ships north after a decent effort in the GRADE II Carry Back at Calder. The Barry Rose 3yo gelding gets some class relief in here. The outside post could be an advantage, as Paco Lopez can do whatever he wants with this NEW PACE TOP.
CRC Race 08 STARSHIP VALOR (although losing his jockey two back) has been ultra consisent this year. Should handle these off the NPT..
