River Seven Flows to Upset Score in Grey Stakes
TORONTO, October 7 – River Seven, at 7-1, bested five rivals, including the previously unbeaten Uncaptured, the 2-5 choice, in Sunday’s Grade 3, $224,800 Grey Stakes, at Woodbine.
Owned by Tucci Stables and trained by Nick Gonzalez, River Seven, a two-year-old son of Johannesburg, broke his maiden in style, a three-quarter length win in the 1 1/16-mile feature.
