CHAMP DEPARTS FOR CALIFORNIA

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (October 25, 2012) – Approximately nine hours after working five furlongs over a sloppy track in :59.80, Pinnacle Racing Stables, Inc. and Bill Kaplan’s Eclipse Award winning champion female sprinter Musical Romance departed Calder Casino & Race Course aboard a Brookledge van bound for Kentucky, the first-leg of a two-tiered journey to California where the mare will defend her title in the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint on November 3 in what is expected to be her final start.
