Gulfstream Today - 12-16-12

Lead: Expectations were high for Joyce B. Young’s 2-year-old homebred filly Caroline Thomas as the 9-to-10 favorite in Sunday’s sixth race allowance test, and she more than lived up to the challenge, splitting horses nearing the stretch and going on to score by a length over Eclipse Thoroughbreds’ pacesetter Miss Lucky Sevens in the 1 1/16 miles turf test.
