Ketel One King’s Bishop (G1) Quotes

Bob Baffert, winning trainer of Drefong (No. 13): "The horse has always been incredibly fast. We freshened him up and this was the race we were looking forward to, so I was happy when I saw the post. He's a quiet horse, he's a beautiful horse. When he left there and I saw the first quarter in 23 [seconds], I thought that was a good pace. It wasn't too taxing on him. I'm proud of him, he ran so well. And the Chu family, they just got in the game a few years ago, they've been extremely lucky with their horses, so this was a big win for them. Good for them, I'm here just to fulfill their dreams.

Ballerina (G1) Quotes

"Win and You're In Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint Division"

Tom Morley, winning trainer of Haveyougoneaway (No. 10): "I'm dripping in sweat. I'm glad my assistant hosed me down. What a thrill. You can't beat that. It's Saratoga, we just won a Grade 1. It's as good as it gets, it really is."

"There was a question mark about [the pace] and I said to [jockey] Johnny [Velazquez] in the paddock, 'I don't know whether they're going to go a rattling good pace here. There's no signed-on speed. There's fillies that have been prominently placed before.' This filly, she's good enough to win going six [furlongs] and she's got plenty of gears; you can be tactical with her. We knew she'd stay; she'd only just got there in the Honorable Miss and she ran a very good second to Bar of Gold going a mile at Belmont. The seven-eighths is absolutely her wheelhouse and Johnny had her in the right spot the whole race. It was a great ride and a great result."

Personal Ensign (G1) Quotes

"Win and You're In Breeders' Cup Distaff Division"

Kiaran McLaughlin, winning trainer of Cavorting (No. 5): "She ran terrific. Javier [Castellano] got her back and the others went four-wide. He saved ground and I think that was the key to race. He [Javier] gets along great with this filly. That was an important move he made into the first turn.

Upcoming plans?: "Not sure if we'll go straight to the Breeders' Cup or run back at Belmont."

Funny Cide Quotes

Todd Pletcher, winning trainer of Syndergaard (No. 5): "We were optimistic coming in. The horse trained very well and ran well in his debut. We felt like Bobby On Fleek was very impressive in his debut, so it was going to be an interesting matchup. He's just got so much early speed that I think he kind of forced everyone to chase him a little bit. Yeah, he came with the heater today."

New York Turf Writers Cup (G1 Steeplechase) Quotes

Gustav Dahl, winning jockey of Portrade (No. 5): "The idea was to have an easy pace. He likes to be on the front end and settles away once he can't hear pressure behind him. That's why he wears the hood as well; to dampen some of that noise. But here's there when you ask him. He jumps phenomenally and he just kept his forward momentum going, stayed on and dug in."

On winning a Grade 1 at Saratoga Race Course: "It's a dream come true."
