AQUEDUCT WINTER/SPRING MEET CALENDAR AMENDED TO 4-DAY RACE WEEK
OZONE PARK, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will drop six scheduled live race days from the Aqueduct winter/spring meet calendar, a decision approved by the New York State Racing and Wagering Board Thursday afternoon.

The date reduction, which is supported by the New York Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association (NYTHA) and the New York Thoroughbred Breeders (NYTB), was one of several equine safety initiatives approved by the NYRA Board at its most recent meeting on Friday, January 25.
