College Scholarship Day at Keeneland – Friday, October 12

Thousands of students from colleges and universities in Kentucky and neighboring states will be at Keeneland on Friday, October 12, for one of the track’s most popular promotions – College Scholarship Day.

Keeneland and the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association will partner to give away ten $1,000 scholarships to full-time students. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded after each race.


WHAT: Students can register to win one of 10 $1,000 scholarships to be given away following each race.

College Zone in the North Terrace features music, free snacks and prize drawings.

First 1,000 students to register for a scholarship receive a free Keeneland College Scholarship Day T-shirt courtesy of Kennedy Book Store and a hat from Vineyard Vines.

Free admission for full-time college students with a valid student ID

WHEN: Registration begins at 11 a.m. ET
Post time for the first race is 1:05 p.m.
