Results for the Canadian-connected Breeders’ Cup horses

Arcadia, CA, November 3 - He's Had Enough, second in the Juvenile, and Delegation, third in the Dirt Mile, led the way for Canadian-connected horses at the Breeders' Cup, on Saturday, at Santa Anita.

He's Had Enough, owned by J. Paul Reddam of Windsor, Ontario, endured a difficult trip in the Grade 1, $2-million Breeders' Cup Juvenile, but was courageous to the wire to be second to Shanghai Bobby.

"To overcome all that trouble, he ran dynamite," said trainer Doug O'Neill. "Right to the end, I was still thinking he was going to get there. He got beat by a nice horse.”

Delegation, recent winner of the Grade 3 Durham Cup at Woodbine for trainer Mark Casse, rallied strongly along the rail to be third to Tapizar in the Grade 1, $1-million Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile.

“I had so much horse and I was coming on the rail," said Woodbine-based rider Patrick Husbands. "I was begging for a little break. When I finally got it, it was too late. He showed up like a champion. He ran a big race.”

The rest of the results are below.
