The Lead: Saturday's $100,000 Adena Springs Sugar Swirl (G3) drew a field of seven including Dust and Diamonds, who finished second Nov. 3 behind Groupie Doll in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1).
The six furlong event also drew three horses trained by Marty Wolfson, including Calder stakes winners Spectacular Sky and Nakano as well as Golden Mystery.
Who's Hot: Jockeys Jose Lezcano and Joe Rocco Jr. visited the winner's circle twice during Wednesday's eight-race program. Lezcano who the sixth with Clement Rock ($6.60) and seventh with Imperial Luck ($3.80) while Rocco took the fourth aboard Dinahmite Sal ($11.20) and was placed first by the stewards in the second with Miss Lamour ($15.20).
Meanwhile, jockey Jesus Rio brought home Dolce Luna in the fifth to the tune of $81.60.
