The Phantom Gourmet returns for its second Beer & Food Phest. First held last fall, the Beer & Food Phest is now a 2-day affair with live racing on Saturday. This mostly indoor event will serve up Phantom's favorite beers and foods and include free entertainment, including mechanical bull rides, sumo wrestling, twister, bouncy boxing and a dance floor. The event will feature a live Phantom Gourmet broadcast on Saturday on 96.9 FM WTKK. Also on Saturday, WAAF's Greg Hill will host the Ms. Beer & Food Phest Pageant. On Sunday, watch the pro football game from London on a giant TV.


Tickets are only $5 at the event and do not include food and beverage. The event entrance will be located at the North Grandstand entrance closest to parking lot #6. Event attendees will have access to watching and wagering on the races. 21 plus (no minors, infants, or pets). Every person must present valid I.D. Tickets, food and drinks are cash only. Note to racing fans: Those not planning to attend this event should use the Clubhouse entrance, where admission will be free, and use the Turf Club/Valet parking lot.
DRF/NTRA Handicapping Tournament

Registration begins at 11 AM in the Topsider Room

Join us for the second of two qualifying tournaments for the Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship to be held January 29-30, 2010 at Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, NV.

The top finisher in this tournament will qualify for the National Championship. Airfare and hotel accommodations will be provided. In addition to the one qualifying spot, cash prizes will be awarded to the top 10 finishers. All money received in entry fees will be returned to these prize winners.

The entry fee is $60 and includes a Daily Racing Form, a simulcast program and lunch (12:30-2:30). Limit one entry per person. Must be present to enter.
