Albar Lotois to claim Abu Dhabi feature?

It is a busy evening in store for racegoers at Abu Dhabi this Sunday with a seven race card starting as normal at 5pm.

The card opens with three 1600m maidens with very little form on offer.

The following three races are all 2200m handicaps with the most valuable, race five, attracting a field of eight.

Trainer Eric Lemartinel has had an excellent season to date with 13 winners and saddles three with Albar Lotois looking the pick under Gerald Avranche who said: "He never runs a bad race and has won over course and distance. It looks a competitive little heat but we have to be hopeful."‬‬‪‪

Gill Duffield, like Lemartinel only trains Purebred Arabians and is on the 10-winner mark. She has three in the race also with Richard Hills electing to ride Menwaal.‬‬‪‪

Das Jalabi looks the main danger to the Lemartinel/Duffield contingent.‬‬‪‪

The penultimate event, the third 2200m handicap, provides Lemartinel's Chase Me with a good opportunity to record a fourth consecutive victory.

Highly progressive, he may have most to fear Duffield duo Eqtiqraar and Adraaj.‬‬‪‪

The only Thoroughbred race concludes events and is a 14000m maiden. Satish Seemar heads the trainer's table at the moment on 20 and saddles four in this.

Richard Mullen rides debutant Fursan Al Sahra with Harry Bentley on Fieriness and these look best of his quartet.‬‬‪‪

Spirit of Darley is an interesting newcomer for Ismail Mohammed under Ted Durcan and Willie Supple chooses Chitchatnthechapel from two Erwan Charpy runners.‬‬
