ALVARADO, MAWING, JOSEPHSON ALL WIN A PAIR OF RACES AT GGF


ALBANY -- Jockeys Frank Alvarado and Leslie Mawing and trainer Jedd Josephson all won a pair of races at Golden Gate Fields Saturday.

Alvarado won the first and last races on the card, taking the opener with Woodpulp ($6.80) and the ninth with Lornefivehundred ($6.60).


Mawing scored his victories in back-to-back races, taking the second with Bert’ N the Group ($5.60) and the third with Take That ($5.60).

Josephson went 2-for-2, winning the fifth race with Secret Jackpot ($9.00) and the seventh with Bye Bye See Ya ($8.20).

Golden Gate Fields will present a special Dollar Day card Sunday. Post time is
12:45 p.m. and the track is offering fans $1 general parking, $1 general admission, $1 programs, $1 hot dogs, $1 beers and $1 sodas.
