AMERICAN ROMANCE BLOSSOMS AT MEADOWLANDS

East Rutherford, NJ [Oct. 29, 2009] - American Romance rallied three-wide and easily drew past Cosmic Dance in the stretch to take the featured $52,000 sixth race allowance/optional claiming event for fillies and mares Thursday night at Meadowlands Racetrack.


American Romance posted her second straight win with Eddie Castro in the irons and paid $5.80. She stepped the mile and 70 yards in 1:40.3 over a main track rated good. John Fisher trains the daughter of Successful Appeal for Woodslane Farm. American Romance improved her record to three wins in 13 career starts and boosted her bankroll to $133,720.
