ALBANY -- Jockey Russell Baze followed up his hat trick on Friday with a riding double Saturday at Golden Gate Fields.

Baze, the leading rider at the Fall meeting with 55 victories, scored his wins with heavy favorites - McMurtry ($2.80) in the first race and Joshua's Dream ($4.20) in the eighth.

Trainer Steve Sherman also won a pair of races Saturday. The fourth-leading trainer at the meeting with 15 victories, Sherman captured the fourth race with Peek a Boop ($22.80) and the ninth with Stag On The Run
($4.40).

Golden Gate Fields is offering a slew of $1 specials Sunday - parking, admission, programs, beers, hot dogs and sodas are all just a buck. Post time for the nine-race card is 12:45 p.m. and fans attending the track will also be able to enjoy the football games broadcast on NFL Sunday Ticket.
