Anticipation for the 2010/2011 live race meet is high among the Racing Fans, Horsemen, and the Calder Team for a number of reasons. Foremost, with the construction of the new casino and poker room complete, Calder is easy to get to and park and to enjoy all the amenities. Old traditions with new excitement await fans at Calder, including the Summit of Speed and Festival of the Sun as well as the track’s renowned program for 2-year-old Thoroughbreds, including the Florida Stallion Stakes.
