Dancin Perfect Performs in Friday’s Feature

NEW ORLEANS (Friday, November 13, 2009) –Good Tyme Racing and Richard Ringo’s Dancing Perfect took command shortly after the start and never relinquished that lead when capturing Friday’s $47,000 allowance feature at Fair Grounds by one length under a well-judged ride by jockey Shane Sellers.

As the choice of the fans, Dancing Perfect returned $5, $3 and $2.20 and toured the about 1 1/16-mile distance over the firm Stall-Wilson turf course in 1:49.01 after setting early fractions of 22.32 and 53.78. The Mike Burgess-trained daughter of Pleasantly Perfect increased her career earnings to $85,010 with her third victory in 10 lifetime starts.

Agave Racing Stable’s Going to the Sun continued willingly in the late stages to be easily second best, finishing 3 1/4-lengths to the good of Stanley Seelig’s Cat Hop. Going to the Sun paid $4 and $3 and Cat Hop returned $2.80 to show.

Racing resumes Saturday at Fair Grounds with a 10-race program beginning at 12:30 p.m.
