EARLY GATE OPENINGS AT GGF FOR BREEDERS’ CUP SIMULCAST

ALBANY -- Golden Gate Fields has scheduled early gates openings for Friday and Saturday, days in which the track will supplement its live program with the simulcast of the Breeders' Cup races from Santa Anita.

Grandstand, Club House and Top of the Stretch gates will open at 9 a.m. Friday. The Turf Club will open at 10 a.m. and post time for the first race from Santa Anita is 11:05 a.m. The first Breeders' Cup race, the $1 million Filly and Mare Sprint, will be run at 12:35 p.m. First post at Golden Gate Fields is 11:55 a.m.


Saturday, all admission gates will open at 9 a.m. and post time for the first race at Santa Anita, the $500,000 Breeders' Cup Marathon, is 10:10 a.m. First post at Golden Gate Fields is 10:25 a.m.

The post time schedule for Friday's Breeders' Cup races is as follows: Filly and Mare Sprint 12:35 p.m., Juvenile Fillies Turf 1:15 p.m., Juvenile Fillies 1:55 p.m., Filly and Mare Turf 2:35 p.m., Ladies Classic 3:15 p.m.

The post time schedule for Saturday's Breeders' Cup races is as follows: Marathon 10:10 a.m., Turf Sprint 10:50 a.m., Dirt Mile 11:30 a.m., Mile 12:15 p.m., Juvenile 12:55 p.m., Juvenile Turf 1:35 p.m., Sprint 2:15 p.m., Turf 3 p.m., Classic 3:45 p.m.
