Eve Giselle takes Endine Stakes

Wilmington, Del., August 20, 2011 — Bean Counter Stables’ Eve Giselle won the $151,050 Grade III Endine Stakes at Delaware Park.

With Javier Santiago aboard, the 4-year-old daughter of Five Star Day posted a length victory and returned $4.40 as the favorite in the field of eight. Sassy City, with Ramon Vazquez, finished second 5-lengths in front of Ms Vanenzza, with Jeremy Rose, in third.

Eve Giselle covered the six furlongs in 1:08.84 over a fast main track. With the victory, the Florida-bred conditioned by Tim Ritchey is now three-for-three at Delaware Park. On June 25, she notched her first career stake victory in the six furlong $125,000 Sweet & Sassy Stakes at Delaware Park. Her lifetime record is six wins from nine starts with earnings of $282,800.
