FEEL THE LOVE! $250,000 LATE PICK 4, EQUESTRIS BUFFET ON FEB. 14

Next Saturday is St. Valentine’s Day and here is great idea and one that’s more fun and exciting than just dinner, flowers and candy to mark the occasion.

For just $39 per person (includes tax and gratuities), fans can partake of the sumptuous brunch buffet, served in the spacious Equestris Dining Room from noon until 3 p.m. Indulge yourself with roasted New York strip with Roquefort black pepper sauce; beet juice-poached salmon filet with pea and mushroom dust; cornbread-stuffed capon with red pepper veloute; heart-shaped ravioli with Diablo sauce; sautéed collard greens with brandy-soaked stewed tomatoes; roasted sweet potatoes with hone drizzle; make-you-own salads; omelets to order; breakfast potatoes; breakfast meats; scrambled eggs; muffins and bagels, and relax to the music of “Vincent.”

Of course there will be sweets for your sweetie at the Be Mine Chocolate Bar, featuring white, dark and milk chocolate fondues in which to dip assorted fruits and pound cake; chocolate truffles and a variety of cupcakes.

Meanwhile, enjoy the fabulous nine live races on Aqueduct’s inner dirt track, featuring a special guaranteed $250,000 late Pick 4. For a $1 minimum wager, fans must pick the winners of races 6-9 for a chance at some serious money. The day’s feature race is the 15th running of the $65,000-added Dearly Precious (talk about romance!) for three-year-old fillies at six furlongs.

First-race post is 12:30 p.m., and there is also simulcast wagering on races from around the country.
