FREE GENERAL ADMISSION, DOLLAR SPECIALS TO BE INTRODUCED THURSDAYS


INGLEWOOD, Calif. (April 8, 2009) — General Admission will be free on Thursdays during the 65-day Spring/Summer Meet at Hollywood Park, which opens Wednesday, April 22.

The Thursday programs will also feature $1 hot dogs and sodas through the final Hollywood Park race and $1 beers from noon until 3 p.m.


Regular prices during the 13-week meeting are $8 for General Admission, $10 for Clubhouse and $20 for Turf Club. Seniors 62 and older will receive a $3 discount on Wednesdays. All prices include parking and an official program.

In keeping with Hollywood Park tradition, the $1 price on hot dogs, sodas and beers will remain in effect for Friday night racing. The $1 beers will be served from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

The 2009 Spring/Summer Meeting will open with the $70,000-added Harry Henson Stakes on April 22 and conclude with the $150,000 Sunset Handicap on July 19.
