Gulf News back at Nad Al Sheba on Thursday


The sixth Dubai International Racing Carnival meeting is set to take place this Thursday, and is sponsored by long term partner, Gulf News.

Dubai Racing Club’s CEO Frank Gabriel Jr said: “Gulf News has been a loyal partner to Dubai Racing Club and we are delighted to welcome them to Nad Al Sheba once again.


“Gulf News has been instrumental in the development of the Dubai International Racing Carnival, having been a supporter from its inception in 2004.

“We are confident they will be rewarded with an exciting evening and thank them once again for their loyalty”.

“Gulf News is a sponsor of both the Dubai Racing Carnival and the Dubai World Cup and we are very excited to be here at Nad Al Sheba again” said Duleep George, the Executive Director Marketing & Sales at Gulf News.

“The evening’s racing culminating with the Gulf News Stakes, promises to provide a lot of thrills and all of us are looking forward to it”.

Thursday’s meeting offers a number of hospitality options available to suit all tastes and budgets in both the Millennium Grandstand and the Maktoum Grandstand.

Entrance to the public area of the racecourse is free of charge and there are also complimentary transfers to and from Nad Al Sheba from Dubai Marina (by Spinneys), Arabian Ranches (Shopping complex), Wafi (in front of Pyramids) and Emirates Towers (Boulevard entrance by Cartier).

Buses will leave at 6.00pm from these locations, and return departures will be from 10.00pm from the racecourse.
