Handicapping Seminars/Contests announced
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (Jan. 19, 2009) – Daily Herald and horseplayerpro.com handicapper Joe Kristufek will be on hand “talking horses” at Trackside OTB locations as part of his fourth “Learn to Win” tour that will include a “Beat the Pro” handicapping contest element for the first time in the Winter/Spring of 2009.
Kristufek’s tour of Trackside OTBs begins on Friday, Jan. 30 at Trackside McHenry, located inside Nicolino’s Restaurant, 621 Ridgeview Drive in McHenry. Kristufek will be on hand from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. to talk racing, answer questions and help fans hone their handicapping skills.
The “Beat the Pro” contest is for anyone who signs up and uses their Arlington Cash Card or Account Wagering Card to place a minimum of five wagers. Anyone who posts a higher return on investment (amount won divided by amount bet) than Kristufek for the day will receive a portion of the $250 prize pool.
As an added bonus to all Trackside patrons on Kristufek's seminar days, Horseplayer PRO will provide complimentary copies of their highly successful PRO Alert, a national listing of horses entered to run that day off their exclusive "watch" list.
The final stop of the Winter/Spring tour will be a special Kentucky Derby handicapping seminar to be held Thursday, Apr. 30 from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at Trackside Arlington Park featuring Joe Kristufek and Arlington Park television handicapper Jessica Pacheco which will explore wagering and handicapping strategies in an interactive format.
