HRTV Onsite for Arlington Million Coverage

Arlington Heights, IL, Aug. 3 -- The Grade 1, $1 million Arlington Million is annually one of Thoroughbred racing's summertime centerpieces, and HorseRacing TV (TM) (HRTV) will once again be on-track at Arlington Park during the week to chronicle all the events leading into the Saturday, August 8 event.

HRTV analyst, and Hall of Fame jockey, Gary Stevens, a two-time Arlington Million winner (1990, '97) during a brilliant career, will be joined by two valuable, veteran horseracing personalities, Caton Bredar and Jill Byrne, to provide the latest developments, and up-to-date information in the days leading up to the 27th edition of the racing classic.


The HRTV trio will offer in-depth analysis and commentary from Wednesday, August 5 through Million Day, while conducting interviews with key owners, trainers, and jockeys, in advance if the 1 1/4 mile turf classic, which is expected to lure a host of the sport's top grass performers, including Gio Ponti, Einstein and Presious Passion.

The Million is included among the annual "Arlington International Festival of Racing." The outstanding card also features two additional Grade 1 races -- the $750,000 Beverly D. and the $400,000 Secretariat.
