Finish Lines… Trainer William Phipps remains undefeated at Tampa Bay Downs for the current meet, having saddled his fourth consecutive winner this afternoon. In addition to his win with Causin’ Thunder today, Phipps has had a victory with Dream Rush in an allowance race on Opening Day and conditioned the mare to a win in the Minaret Stakes earlier this month. Phipps trainee Fierce Wind also took a trip to the Winner’s Circle after the colt, who won last year’s Sam F. Davis Stakes, made his first start back since the 2008 rendition of the Florida Derby.
