BREEDERS’ CUP SATURDAY ADVANCED WAGERING BEGINS 12 PM FRIDAY

In addition to a full card of live racing on Friday, Monmouth Park will beam-in the Breeders’ Cup simulcast from Churchill Downs.

Also on the Friday betting menu will be advanced wagering on Saturday’s Breeders’ Cup action as well as the Ladies Classic/Breeders’ Cup Classic daily double.


Beginning at 12 pm, fans can begin wagering their on Saturday’s championship action from Churchill Downs.

In addition, a special Ladies Classic/Breeders’ Cup Classic double will combine the biggest races of Friday and Saturday.

All in attendance will receive free admission on Friday to either the Grandstand or Clubhouse. Gates open at 11:30 am and the first post is 12:15 pm.

Monmouth Park hosts eight live races Friday with the first Breeders’ Cup race from Churchill Downs getting underway at 4:10 pm.

The Ladies Classic, first leg of the Classic double, will run as Churchill’s 10th and final race with a post time of 7:30 pm.


TRUJILLO, CIBELLI, HALLS REMAIN ATOP RESPECTIVE STANDINGS

With just three live racing days remaining in Monmouth Park’s 2011 season, jockey Elvis Trujillo, trainer Jane Cibelli and owners George and Lori Hall remain atop their respective standings.

Trujillo has amassed an insurmountable 125 victories at Monmouth Park in 2011. That total has him 37 ahead of last year’s leading rider Paco Lopez.

In the trainer standings, Cibelli has 32 wins to Scott Volk’s 26 in her attempt to become the first female conditioner to win the training title at Monmouth Park.

George and Lori Hall (17 wins) are two victories ahead of Patricia Generazio as the Monmouth Park meet enters its final weekend.
