NJSEA RECOGNIZED FOR ALCOHOL MANAGEMENT TRAINING

East Rutherford, NJ [January 29, 2009] -- The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority is a recipient of TEAM Coalition’s 2008 Hall of Fame Award for training in alcohol management.

Twenty-six members of NJSEA senior management were certified in TEAM (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management) Coalition’s alcohol management program in 2008. All NJSEA operations staff will undergo TEAM training in 2009.


TEAM Coalition is an non-profit alliance of professional and collegiate sports, entertainment facilities, concessionaires, stadium service providers, and others working together to promote responsible drinking and positive fan behavior at sports and entertainment facilities. TEAM Coalition includes Major League Baseball, the National Football League, the National Basketball Association, the National Hockey League, ARAMARK Corporation, Anheuser-Busch and Miller Brewing Company among its many members.
